Șumen (Шумен): 80.855 locuitori.

Intre anii 1980 si 1989 a fost construita o retea de troleibuz ce nu a fost pusa in functiune. Au fost achizitionate doua troleibuze Skoda 14Tr ce nu au circulat niciodata in Shumen, fiind ulterior vandute Regiei de transport din Plovdiv.

Reteaua a fost complet demontata in 1996-1997.

Stalpii ce au sustinut reteaua de troleibuz au fost pastrati.
