1. Una din ciudateniile transportului din Varna este modelul MAN SG 280. Motorul e in spate, dar tractiunea e pe axa B, rotile axei C fiind simple. un "frate" al acestui tip de autobuz circula, in 2008, in Targu Mures.

2. Ikarusurile par sa aiba motorul original: D 2156; in orice caz, evacuarea gazelor este cea clasica, adica in fata rotii (jumelate) din mijloc stanga; la cele cu motor RABA de generatie mai noua (RABA D10??), evacuarea se face la mijlocul trapei mari, cam cu un metru mai in fata decat la cele "Clasice".

3. Parcul auto este pestrit. Ori, de regula, tendinta este de omogenizare a parcului auto. Cand nu vor mai fi piese de schimb, autobuzele vor sta, frumos, la gard. Achizitia atator tipuri de vehicule second-hand se poate explica prin pretul foarte mic al acestora.

4. Facand o calatorie in timp, in 1990, exista "moda" ambalarii excesive a motoarelor. Urlau saracele Ikarusuri de parca isi dadeau sufletul. La fel si acele autobuze cu aspect asemanator DAC-urilor, dar cu usa a II-a pozitionata ca la troleibuzele 217 E (Sasiu de DAC articulat carosat la bulgari). Acum, cand cutia majoritatii autobuzelor este automata probabil, moda turarii excesive probabil, s-a diminuat.
