Locomotive Skoda seria 44

Sunt locomotive cu 2 boghiuri cu cate 2 osii fiecare, catre BDJ fiind livrate 89 de unitati incepand cu anul 1975.
Locomotiva are puterea de 3140 kW si o viteza maxima de 130 km/h. Este prevazuta si cu frana electrica. Lungimea peste tampoane este de 16,5 m, ampatamentul locomotivei este de 7,65 m, iar cel al boghiului de 2,95 m.

Here you are my photos from different places in Bulgaria.

1. An electric locomotive 45166-6 with morning fast train with number IR 5620 Inter Regio is ready do departure[/url] from railway station Blagoevgrad.

2. A sky above railway station Septemvri.

3. A meet between 2 trains on railway station Parvomai.

4. An electric locomotive on railway station Septemvri , before using a freight train.

5. A night view from railway station Kulata - borden station between Bulgaria and Greece.You can see a diesel locomotive of OSE (Οργανισμός Σιδηροδρόμων Ελλάδος / Greek Railways) and electric locomotive 45162-5 of BDZ (Bulgarian Railways).

6. An eletric locomotive 44099-0 in a railway station Pazardjik with fast train with number IR 1620 Inter Regio from Plovdiv to Sofia.

7. A view from railway station - a small town in the Rodopean Mountain.

8. An elektric locomotive 44139-4 railway station Svoge with fast train with number IR 4612 Inter Regio from Sofia to Ruse.

Very interesting system is using in Romania.

In Bulgaria is used "EBICAB" system.It`s own country is Sweden , but it have diffusion and occurrence in some European countries - Norway , Portugal and Bulgaria.A tangible version in Bulgaria called "Ebicab 700" and there you can see more info about this system.

Today , 22-th September in my country (Bulgaria) has got up and put through an attraction trip with a narrow gauge steam locomotive for 760 mm.The group was foreign people from different countries - Germany , France and even Japan.The trip was prepared over than 1 year and the destination is from Septemvri to Velingrad , over the narrow gauge line Septemvri - Dobrinishte.My photos are following:

In Bulgaria there is only one narrow - gauge line - from Septemvri to Dobrinishte , after decreasing and stopping the passenger and freight trains over the 2 lines - Pazardjik - Varvara and Cherven Briag - Oriahovo.In nowadays , these 2 lines (last) are dismatled.
On the narrow gauge line Septemvri - Dobrinishte are moving only passenger trains , using by a 2 types of diesel locomotives - class 75-00 (with numbers from 001 to 010) - made by HENSCHEL AG KASSEL - Germany and class 77-00 (from 001 to 010)- made by factory 23TH AUGUST WERKE - Bucuresti (now FAUR).The Bulgarian goverment negotiate with SIEMENS for delivery a DMU DESIRO for 760 mm , but the negotiations by now are in a blind aley.The locomotives are following:
1. class 75-00;
2. class 77-00.

Even these mashines , there are a locomotives of class 76-00 , moved on the narrow gauge line Cherven Briag - Oriahovo , but with a dismantled a line , several of them were throw across in depot Septemvri.From 15 mashines , there are only 4 - 005 , 006 , 011 and 012.Before several months , the Argeninian company sold 3 of them.Onto the locomotives have done a general overhaul , painted and they`ll pass over a trial tests.After that , the 3 mashines will move in harbour of Burgas , load up on boats and will go Agrentina.

I want to present a locomotives , moving in Bulgaria.

1. diesel mashines for standard 1435 mm gauge.
I nowadays , there are moving only 2 classes main locomotives and 3 classes shunting locomotives.The main mashines is using a freight , passenger and fast trains over the non electrified lines , also is using in local freight trains , sometimes for shunting duties , even in the accidents with electrical network.
The main locomotives are 2 classes - class 06-00 (made by factory Electroputere - Craiova) and class 07-00 (made by Factory in Lugansk - Russia).Before several years , some locomotives of class 07-00 were modernizied with installing of electric heating and the 3-rd cipher was changed from "0" to "1".For example 07006-0 now is 07106-8.

On the first photo you can see a diesel locomotive of class 06-00 with freight train on railway station Stara Zagora.
On the second photo , the locomotive of class 06-00 is ready to departure with passenger train from railway station Momchilgrad.
On the 3rd photo 07018-5 crossing central railway station Plovdiv with freight train.
On the 4th photo 07019-3 is ready to departure from railway station Dimitrovgrad with Regional train to Plovdiv.
On the 5th photo the modernizied locomotive 07126-6 (ex number 06026-4) is arriving on central railway station Ruse with the famous train "Orient Express".This picture is taken in September , 2007 year.


Shunting locomotives - the classes of moving mashines are 3 - class 51-00 (made by GANZ MAVAG - Budapest , Hungary) - with electric transmitting system. They have been delivered 172 of them between 1962 and 1968.Some locomotives are working in depot of Ruse.

On 6th photo 51072-9 shunting on railway station Ruse - razpr.

Class 52-00 (made in Germany).These mashines are using by shunting duties.Many of them are owned by the different private factories and operators (like a BZK / BRC and BULMARKET).

On 7th photo 52004-9 sunting on railway station Sliven.

Class 55-00 (made by 23TH AUGUST WERKE - Bucuresti / now FAUR) - the most popular shunting locomotives in Bulgaria.It had delivered from 001 to 212 , some of them are restored and damaged , others are owned by the private factories and the private operators BZK and BULMARKET.These mashines are universal for shunting duties and using a passenger trains.

On 8th photo 55071-5 standing on railway station Giueshevo with Regional train from Kiustendil.
On 9th photo 55078-3 shunting with passenger cars on railway station Vidin.From the city of Vidin to the nearest romanian town Kalafat there is an existed connection with ferry , through the Danube river.In nowadays , the construction of the bridge between Vidin and Kalafat are moving with the high rates.In the term - bound construction project is pawn to 2012 year - even this is a term , promised from the Spanish company - builder of the project.

That`s all for me , by now.In the next opinions , I present other locomotives and motrisse units , moving in Bulgaria.

Diesel Motrisse Units DESIRO of class 10-00 are made by SIEMENS , designed by the short distance.The furnishing in the salon is like a romanian type DESIRO of class 96.I`ve been seen 2 DESIRO in railway station Bucuresti Nord - using train to Aeroport Otopeni (via Mongosoaia) and the other DMU is arrived , using a train from Craiova.
DESIRO is a double section , with 2 independent energy groups , consist of diesel engine with power 275 KW , 4-exponent gear box and compressor of the air condition.With an energy group there is a generator for production of energy , reached for supply linkwork to control.The transmission of revolving moment from diesel engine is accomplish with hydromechanical transmitter.The control panel is "Standart Europen Type" , the management in exhausting power and braking regime is going on with multifunctional supervise.There is a display monitor , who take the place of the mirrors.This system of observe facilitate the work of the engine driver. Maximum speed - 120 km per hour.The DMU numbers are from 001+002 to 049+050.
The DMU DESIRO is using in the many non eletrified lines , like a main lines: Sofia - Kiustendil , Plovdiv - Dimitrovgrad - Svilengrad , Dimitrovgrad - Podkova , also in lines with secondary importance - Plovdiv - Peshtera , Plovdiv - Panagurishte , Pleven - Cherkvitsa , Levski - Svishtov , Levski - Troian , Varna - Kardam and Samuil - Silistra.

On the 1st photo , you can see 10047-2+10048-0 on central railway station Varna , using a local train from Kardam.

On the 2nd photo , 10029-0+10030-8 leaving from central railway station Plovdiv , using a Suburban train to Peshtera.

On the 3rd photo you can see a typical view from railway station Levski - usually on this station is gathered a few DMU DESIRO - in directions Svishtov , Lovech and Troian.

class 43-00 , made by SKODA - Pilzen , Czech Republic.The main technical parameters are following:

Wheel Arrangement / Axle Formula/: B`o-B`o;
Supply pressure: 25kV/50Hz/~;
Cohesive weight: 84 t;
Axle load: 21 t;
Power: 3040 KW;
Maximum speed: 100 km/h;
Durable tractive force: 175 KN;
Overhead for train brake: Knorr D2;
Overhead for direct brake: Knorr St1;
Noise in cab: 72 dB;
Brake pulp: 1. freight regime "G" - 53 t , 2. passenger regime "P" - 53 t , 3. fast regime "R" - 83 t.
Rated electricity: 1125 A.
The locomotives are using for freight and passenger trains.From 1992 year , all mashines with main version of the supplies 1:3.95 with boogies for 110 km/h has a new numbers and 43012-4 has a 43512-3.

On the 1st photo , you can see 43511-5 on central railway station Burgas with fast train from Sofia.

From 1st January 1988 year , the class has receive a new types of numbers and all mashines , gathered and rehabilitated from different damaged locomotives receive a new class - 433XX-X.They are 10 mashines - from 301 to 310.In nowadays are move only 4 of them.

On the 2nd photo 43309-4 entering in a central railway station Plovdiv with freight train.

class 44-00 (made by SKODA - Pilzen , Czech Republic) - the most popular class in Bulgaria , with power of 3140 KW , max speed 130 km/h , wheel arrangement B`o-B`o , supplied with a rheostat brake.Using a freight and passenger trains.At the end of March 2004 year , 2 locomotives class 44 finally arrived in Bulgaria after undergoing modernization and thyristorisation in the Koncar electric locomotive factory in Croatia. The machines originally produced by Skoda, now also have a new livery, different sets of headlights and taillights and have had the side vents along their body removed. The cabin is air-conditioned and the typical for the Koncar factory white unit can be seen in front of the eidoograph.Their numbers are 001 and 002.

class 45-00 , made by SKODA - Pilzen , Czech Republic.The technical parameters are following:

Brake cylinders: 4;
Rated electricity: 1250 A;
Brake pulp: 1. freight regime "G" - 53 t , 2. passenger regime "P" - 53 t , 3. fast regime "R" - 99 t;
Power in a regime of maximum speed: 1985 kW.
The locomotives using by freight and passenger trains.

class 46-00 , made by "Electroputere" - Craiova , build by license of ASEA and delivered in Bulgaria from 1984 year.The technical parameters are following:
Wheel arrangement: Co - Co;
Cohesive weight: 126 t;
Lenght: 19 800 mm;
Power: 5400 KW;
Maximum speed: 130 km/h;
Durable tractive force: 285 KN;
Supply pressure: 25kV/50Hz/~
The mashines using a freight and passenger trains.Some mashines of class 46-00 had been modernized in the Koncar Locomotive Factory in Croatia with the main aim improvement in a exhausting indicators.

class 61-00 , made by SKODA - Pilzen , Czech Republic.The mashines are 4 axes , 2 dray dimensions for supply pressure 25kV/50Hz/~ .The regulation of the tension is through the medium of thyristor regulator.Their maximum speed is 80 km/h and using mainlly for shunting duties.

From December 2007 year in Bulgaria has departure a first EMU DESIRO of classes 30-00 and 31-00 , made by SIEMENS Transportation.In the contract , ratified by the Ministry of transport in my country have been furnished 25 units - 15 with 3 wagons and 10 with 4 wagons.The EMU DESIRO are intended to use a trains in short distances , and their technical parameters are following:
Wheel arrangement /Axle formula/ : Bo`(2`)(2`) Bo`;
Over Length: 57 662 mm (for class 30-00) and 73 502 mm (for class 31-00);
Main base of engine boogies: 2600 mm;
Seats in salon: 180 (for class 30-00) and 244 (for class 31-00);
Sand installation: 80 Kg;
Water content: 240 L;
Power: 1300 KW;
Radius of entry: 125 m;
Haul power: 110 kN;
Max. speed: 140 km/h

The EMUs using a Regional train in destinations - as a main lines Sofia - Plovdiv , Plovdiv - Stara Zagora - Iambol , Sofia - Lakatnik , Sofia - Blagoevgrad and all Suburban trains from Sofia to Pernik.In lines with secondary importance , DESIRO using a trains Sofia - Bankia , Plovdiv - Karlovo , Plovdiv - Hisar and Plovdiv - Asenovgrad.

On 1-st photo you can see EMU 30003-2+30004-0 on central railway station Sofia, using a local train from Plovdiv.

On 2nd photo 31017-1+31018-9 standing on railway station Stara Zagora , using a local train from Iambol.

On 3rd photo you can see a 3 EMU of class DESIRO standing on railway station Dolna Mahala , using a Regional trains.

On 4th photo an ugly and dirty goat cross tracks in front of EMU.

On the 5th photo EMU of class 31-00 , using a suburban train from Asenovgrad to Plovdiv entering in a railway station Krumovo.

Some photos from Bulgarian trains.These days I went for a walk , near city of Pazardjik and take a lots of photos.I upload some of them.

1. Picture 1 - an EMU DESIRO of class 30-00 , using a Regional train from Sofia to Plovdiv.

2. Picture 2 - a freight train , pulled by electric locomotive of class 46-00.

3. Picture 3 - another freight train , pulled by locomotive of class 46-00.A freight trains through Pazardjik and Plovdiv are moving very often.

4. Picture 4 - an express train "Chaika" with number IC 3601 Inter City from Sofia to Burgas.

5. Picture 5 - an EMU DESIRO of class 30-00 , using a Regional train from Plovdiv to Sofia.

6. Picture 6 - an express train "Diana" with number IC 8603 Inter City from Sofia to Iambol , pulled by modernizied electric locomotive of class 46-00.

7. Picture 7 - an EMU DESIRO of class 31-00 , using a suburban train from Septemvri to Plovdiv.

8. Picture 8 - a fast train with number IR 8611 Inter Regio from Sofia to Varna , via Plovdiv.This train carries a directly passenger cars to Burgas.

9. Picture 9 - an EMU DESIRO of class 31-00 , using a suburban train from Plovdiv to Kostenets.

10. Picture 10 - a fast train with number IR 8610 Inter Regio from Burgas to Sofia , via Plovdiv.
