VS 11 AGE si VS 03 WPR sunt Blue Bird model Q-bus de 29ft (8.8m). E ciudat ca sunt doua, si clar ca au fost aduse individual si nu importate prin vreo representanta. Am condus din asta in armata.

De remarcat ca sunt doua variante cu autobuze gen "school bus" fara bot (lasand pe cele clasice). Sunt ori pe sasiu de camion (Blue Bird TC2000 din generatia acestor doua) si cele cu sasiu dedicat, care au caroseria mai coborata putin, cu suspensie pneumatica.

Acestea pot avea motor in spate sau in fata (ca la Skoda RTO, dar cu scara la singura usa in curba ceva). Ele nu au usa de urgenta (ca la cele cu bot) dar au trei geamuri in spate, doua mici laterale, si unul mare, pe balama, pe post de iesier de urgenta, indiferent daca are motor in spate sau nu.

Usile sunt manuale, si scaunele tapitate in vinilin. Geamurile sunt glisante pe jumate si nu au aer conditionat in general. Ca majoritatea autobuzele in state, ele au doua claxoane, unul normal, actionat pe volan, in centru, si unul pneumatic cu goarna (vizibil pe acoperis) actionat pe pedala pe partea stanga. Inca se fabrica si astazi asa ceva, si pe langa Blue Bird, mai sunt Thomas, Eldorado si multi alti carosieri care preiau sasiuri de GMC, International, Freighliner sau cu sasiuri proprii (cum sunt acestea). Blue Bird in general au motoare Cummins dar au optiuni si cu Detroit Diesel. Sunt extrem de ieftine in comparatie cu un autobuz normal, si au "norma de casare" in jur de 40 de ani. Practic sunt Dacurile Americii.

Alta observatie, de obicei sigla firmei Blue Bird este pasarea de deasupra geamului soferului si usa 1 (singura) plus o dunga albastra, exact cum apare in poza. Standard sunt vopsite in albastru sau alb cu clientul majoritar fiind armata (Air Force si Navy are albastre si albe, Army si Marines au verzi sau albe cu dunga verde cum sunt astea). E posibil sa fi fost ale armate SUA, vandute aici, si aduse in tara.

Pozele sunt facute de Condurache Florin si apar aici pe forum.
