In zona garii sunt si locuinte, probabil ale ceferistilor. Drumul este neasfaltat dar trotuarele sunt din pavele!

M-am intors ieri din Sighisoara la Medias ca pe vremuri: cu personalul (pardon, acum se numeste Regio) compus din TE-euri 41 jegoase, urat mirositoare. Trenul a sosit in Sighisoara cu o intarziere de peste 15 minute (progres, deoarece se intarzia si o ora)...

Deci:

1. Sosire R-3505 la Sighisoara, cu masina 40-0068-3.



2. Intre Brateiu si Medias.



3. Sosire in gara Medias.

Trebuie spus ca podul metalic este parte a drumului comunal de legatura intre Banesti si Bobolia.
Inainte de refacerea podului de beton prin anii 2000 odata cu reabilitarea liniei de cale ferata Bucuresti Campina, auzisem zvonuri, deloc ilogice, ca se va construi un pod nou ceva mai in amonte de cele existente iar podul utilizat in prezent de trenuri urma sa preia traficul drumului comunal. In felul acesta s-ar fi putut corecta si curba dintre pod si halta Bobolia.

Au trecut 7 ani de cand nu am mai folosit trenul pt. a ma deplasa la Odorheiu Secuiesc. Profitand de o zi "libera de sarcini", am hotarat sa revizitez zona. Folosindu-ma, la ducere, de trenul Regio R-14844 (Sibiu - Odorhei).

Ajunsi in halta Atel, a trebuit sa stam o ora, deoarece intre Atel si Dumbraveni se circula pe un singur fir (de ce??? lucrarile nu au inceput).

De ce s-o fi numind asa, doar cei de la CFR probabil ca stiu. Statia deserveste locuitorii comunei Hoghilag (si a satului apartinator, Valchid), eventual locuitorii comunei Laslea.
