In perioada 2004-2006 Vilnius a achizitionat 45 troleibuze low-floor Solaris Trollino 15 AC.

Pana la urma, troleibuzul se numeste Amber Vilnis 12 AC. Costa cca 225.000 euro.

Din pacate, proiectul a fost oprit, ramanand doar cele doua troleibuze.

Prima caroserie a noilor troleibuze (vor fi 41) Solaris, aflata in Plzeň, pt. echipare electrica.

Tot astfel de troleibuze vor ajunge si in Kaunas (85 unitati).

A sosit primul troleibuz Solaris Trollino IV 12/Škoda. Nu are decuplare pneumatica a captatoarelor, nici motor auxiliar ori baterii.
