1 EM Stadion (Kavalierhaus) - Europark - Hauptbahnhof - Salzburg Arena

Varianta traseu 1:

Europark - Messezentrum

Extinderea retelei de troleibuz de la Europark la EM Stadion (Kavalierhaus) a fost data in folosinta in 30 septembrie 2005.

Pina in anul 2002 traseul 1 avea ruta Hauptbahnhof - Siezenheimerstrasse. In anul 2003 s-a realizat prelungirea Siezenheimerstrasse - Europark.

Incepand cu 26.09.2011 Salzburg Arena devine capat de linie permanent, in locul lui Messezentrum.

2 Walserfeld - Airportcenter - Hauptbahnhof - Mirabellplatz - Obergnigl

Reteaua extinsa de troleibuz Mirabellplatz - Obergnigl (fostul traseu de autobuz 27) a fost data in folosinta in 10 decembrie 2005.

Se dorea realizarea unui traseu 9 Obergnigl - Kendlersiedlung - Schule Viehhausen.

Pina in 2002 traseul 2 avea ruta fostului traseu 8, iar parti din actualul traseu 2 erau deservite de traseele 5 si 95 (pina la Hauptbahnhof).

Variante traseu 3:

Polizeidirektion - Itzling Pflanzmann

Polizeidirektion - Hauptbahnhof

Salzburg Sud - Hauptbahnhof

Pina in anul 2003 traseul 3 a avut indicativul 51.

Incepand cu data de 9 iulie 2009 traseul 3 a fost extins (cu cca 500 m) pana la magazinul Lidl Austria (Itzling Pflanzmann) prin finantarea Lidl. Este prima finantare privata in domeniul transportului public cu troleibuze.

4 Mayrwies - Langwied - Zentrum - Liefering

La data primei mele vizite in Salzburg (13-14.09.2007) traseul 4 avea cap de linie in Langwied. Insa erau anunturi cum ca se va efectua prelungirea pina in Mayrwies Daxluegstrasse, lucrarile terminindu-se in decembrie 2007. Ceea ce s-a si intimplat, in 7 decembrie 2007 facindu-se inaugurarea acestui tronson.

Varianta traseu 4:

Langwied - Liefering

Pina in 2003, actualul traseu 4 (se intelege, Langwied - Liefering) avea indicativul 29.

5 Birkensiedlung - Hauptbahnhof (- Itzling Pflanzmann Lidl)

Variante traseu 5:

Birkensiedlung - Hauptbahnhof
Kommunalfriedhof - Hauptbahnhof

Pina in 2003 traseul 5 avea ruta Walserfeld - Hauptbahnhof (troleibuzele au circulat cu indicativul 77).

In timpul anului scolar troleibuzele circula pana la Itzling Pflanzmann.

Inca doua indicatoare de statii: Hanuschplatz (centru) dotata cu indicatoare electronice de informare a timpului ramas pana la sosirea troleibuzului / autobuzului, si Breitenfelderstrasse.

Pana in 07.03.2012 traseul 10 avea ruta: Sam - Gnigl - Volksgarten - Zentrum - Landeskrankenhaus (LKH). Pana la Schule Lehen circula in orele de varf, in timpul anului scolar. Din 07.03.12 troleibuzele traseului 10 au deservit Neue Mitte Lehen.

Pana in 09.12.2012 traseul 10 avea ruta: Sam - Gnigl - Volksgarten - Zentrum - Landeskrankenhaus (LKH) -->
a. --> Bessarabierstrasse
b. --> Messe - Salzburg Arena.

O garnitura de tren suburban ET 40 a fost modernizata in Ostrava, Cehia- de catre divizia de constructii-reparatii a companiei de transport din oras-EKOVA ELECTRiC. Mai exact i s-a adaugat un nou vagon.
