Isi facea aparitia in anul 1991 in orasul de pe Cibin. Semet, aspectuos, confortabil, silentios. A fost primit cu caldura de sibieni si numit pe masura: "Marele Alb".

Troleibuzul a ajuns la Sibiu in urma donatiei TL Lausanne. Si-a pastrat foarte multa vreme numarul de inventar TL Lausanne 803.

Dupa 3 ani numarul de inventar Tursib a devenit vizibil: 366.

Odata cu renumerotarea tuturor troleibuzelor, in anul 2001, "Marele Alb" a primit nr. de inventar Tursib 217.

In fapt, troleibuzul provine din Zurich. In anul 1989 TL Lausanne a cumparat din Zurich 3 astfel de troleibuze, pentru a vedea cum se descurca troleibuzele articulate in Lausanne, pregatindu-se achizitionarea troleibuzelor articulate Neoplan. Numarul de inventar din Zurich a fost: "VBZ Zurich 122".

Anul de fabricatie al troleibuzului: 1960. Tipul troleibuzului: FBW GTr51.

Desi se afla in stare deplorabila, e bine ca troleibuzul "Marele Alb" nu s-a intilnit cu autogenul.

Troleibuzul nostru a stat in curtea Tursib multa vreme in spate. Se spera ca el va fi repus in circulatie.

Primele 3 fotografii le-am realizat in 14 ianuarie 2005:

In vara aceluiasi an, 2005, a fost mutat in fata, intr-o zona a mortii.

"Marele Alb" a fost mutat in curtea din spate (str. Ariesului). Sper sa nu-l "termine".

"Marele mincinos" i-a promis o viata mai buna. Dar "Marele Alb" se degradeaza pe zi ce trece.
