Compania care realizeaza transportul in comun de persoane in Potsdam se numeste Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH (ViP) si face parte din asociatia "Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg" (VBB).

Parcul circulant este format din 34 de autobuze (majoritatea pe care le-am vazut sunt Mercedes Citaro) si 60 de tramvaie (16 Siemens Combino si 44 KT4D - majoritatea circuland in cupluri).
Lungimea retelei de tramvai este de 28,9km.

In Potsdam exista 7 linii de tramvai, din care una circula doar in zile cu scoala: 91, 92, 93, 94, 96, X98, 99 si 9 linii de autobuz: 690-698.

Doua indicatoare de statii.
Observati ca apar zonele de tarifare si pentru Berlin ("C"), dar si pentru Potsdam ("A").
