Parcul Castelului Laxenburg (Schlosspark Laxenburg).

Altes Schloß, Kaiser-Franz-Denkmal, Franzensburg, Turnierplatz, Forstmeisterbrücke / Wasserfall, Gotische Brücke.

Iubesc toamna! E (ano)timpul multicolor al rodului, al noilor începuturi...

Însoţit de lumina caldă a razelor ce împrăştiau puful norilor albi, am vizitat cea mai mare grădină peisagistică din Austria, creată în stil englezesc, după anul 1780.

Castelul Laxenburg, împreună cu Palatul Schönbrunn, erau reşedinţele de vară ale dinastiei imperiale (Palatul Hofburg era reședinţa de iarnă). Împărăteasa Sisi adora aceste grădini, în care şi-a petrecut luna de miere.

Pe insula artificială, la care am ajuns cu un feribot "ghidat" (pe fir), a fost construit Castelul Franzensburg, o capodoperă a clasicismului romantic în stil neogotic.

După un popas la cascadă, m-am reîntors la Castelul Vechi, traversând râul pe Podul Gotic.
