50 45 26-26 105-3 in Graz. Boghiurile sunt asemanatoare cu Y32-ul, dar par a avea un ampatament mai mare.

50 80 22-34 059-2 al D.B., in compunerea trenului RB5424 (Innsbruck Hbf. - Muenchen). De precizat ca sectia respectiva (linia 960) are 159 km, parcursi in 2h50 min. Mare parte din traseu serpuieste prin Alpii Tirolezi. Ca fapt divers, doar intre Innsbruck si Seefeld-in-Tirol (25 km) exista 14 tunele, 4 galerii si peste 10 viaducte, linia fiind cu cateva zeci de metri mai sus decat soseaua. Deci... aceasta distanta este parcursa in 2h50 min, cu oprire in toate statiile. Prin comparatie, un tren IC parcurge Bucuresti - Brasov (166km) in 2h40min, un Acc sau R in 3 ore, iar un tren P in peste 4h20min! Si vorbim de o linie care are doar 70 km prin munti, restul fiind campie! Dar, dupa cum imi place sa zic, aici nu suntem in Austria.

Revenind la vagon... acest tip de vagon are 96 de locuri, 2 toalete, incalzire cu radiatoare electrice, iar viteza maxima este de 140 km/h. Nu au drept de circulatie internationala, dar intra in Austria in baza unei intelegeri intre D.B. si Oe.B.B.. In urma cu cateva luni am observat cateva asemenea vagoane in Rev. Basarab, probabil le vom vedea cu scaune tari la rang de IC in scurt timp.

Un alt vagon din acelasi tren era 50 80 31-34 377-7. Acest vagon are 48 de locuri la clasa a 2a (in 2 saloane de cate 24 de locuri, plasate la extremitati) si 30 de locuri de clasa 1 (in 5 compartimente cu cate 6 locuri, situate in partea din mijloc).

Un alt vagon era 50 80 84-34 123-1, vagon ce avea doar 72 locuri, una dintre sectiuni fiind rezervata transportului bicicletelor.

50 80 80-35 174-7, vagonul cu post de conducere ce fusese atasat acelui tren. Pe sensul dinspre Muenchen spre Innsbruck, locomotiva impinge trenul. La intoarcere, ea ramane in spate, mecanicul folosind cabina din vagonul cu post de conducere.

Trecem acum la vagoanele O.B.B. (Oesterreichische Bundesbahnen).

Un vagon foarte raspandit este cel seria 21-73. Din cate imi dau seama, ar trebui sa aiba 88 de locuri (nu am urcat in niciunul sa verific cate locuri are pe rand, dar presupun ca 4, deci 22 de randuri a 4 locuri...). Viteza maxima a acestor vagoane este de 160 km/h. Ele nu sunt apte pentru traficul international si sunt folosite pe o gama larga de trenuri, de la S-Bahn la IC.

Un alt model de vagon inapt pentru trafic extern este cel tip 26-33. Este vorba de vagoane etajate, de clasa a 2a, cu 128 de locuri si viteza maxima de 120 km/h.
Am calatorit cu un asemenea vagon si pot sa va spun ca este dotat cu scaune foarte confortabile, iar suspensia secundara cu perna de aer face ca nici macar cel mai denivelat macaz sa nu fie simtit de catre calator.

Am intalnit vagoane din aceasta serie doar la Viena, folosite pe S-Bahn (cred ca si pe unele trenuri Regionale).

O.B.B. are in dotare si vagoane seria 29-35. Acestea au 72 de locuri, viteza maxima de 120 km/h si nu sunt apte pentru trafic international dar, in baza unei conventii, circula pana in Ungaria.

Unul din cele mai spectaculoase puncte de pe traseul vienez de S-Bahn, intre gara Praterstern/Wien Nord si Landstrasse/Wien Mitte. Aici, calea ferata intra in subteran, chiar pe deasupra ei (!!!) fiind construita recent aripa unui spectaculos bloc de birouri. Imagini luate din Obere Viaduktgasse spre pasajul rutier superior al Hintere Zollamtsstrasse.

De remarcat garnitura "City-Shuttle" de ultima generatie. Vagonul automotor etajat de tip suburban se dovedeste o optiune eficienta in transportul de scurt parcurs.
