Capitala Bosniei va avea 25 de troleibuze articulate noi, ce vor fi livrate de BKM Holding. Valoarea contractului (imprumut de la BERD) este de 14.014.914 euro, deci un troleibuz costa cca 560.597 euro.

Pana in anul 2022, reteaua de troleibuz va fi extinsa pana la Vogošća, iar pentru noua linie vor fi achizitionate 10 troleibuze.

S-a aprobat proiectul de reconstruire a retelei de troleibuz interurban pana la Vogošća, lungimea fiind de 8,6 km. Vor fi folositi stalpii vechii retele, distruse in 1992, in razboi.
